Want billboard ad taken down. At my Women for Decency chapter meeting last week Rachel brought to our attention a tactless and offensive billboard near I-15 between the 4200 south and 5300 south exits promoting Radio Station 106.5. It is a picture of a woman tugging at her shirt to expose her chest with the slogan “Shut up and rock.”
I sent a message to their general manager and would encourage others to join me and add your voice against objectifying women. The broken window theory applies here. Once we become immune to the crass we allow the pornification of society to increase, tearing apart families and causing incalculable harm to individuals.
